The recent confirmation of gravitational waves is fascinating. It's amazing to think about these waves crossing the universe and being detectable as they washed against the shores of planet earth. I still can't believe that something that happened 1.3 billion years ago could still be moving, could still be "alive." It is mind blowing. Check out this article for more info:
